My name is Jacob Morse. This website is a place for me to just write. I use it to discuss some very important (i.e., eternally significant) topics, conduct thought-experiments, and reevaluate various ideas I (and maybe you) have always taken for granted.
I am married to one amazing Jennifer, and we’re currently living happily ever after in the D/FW Metroplex.
I run a small design firm called Volo Creative.
I’m finishing up a degree in Philosophy at the University of North Texas.

What is Cogito? “Cogito” comes from Descartes’ famous assertion, cogito ergo sum, “I think, therefore I am”, though he actually said, “Je pense, donc je suis.”). Given that this site is my designated place to just think for thinking’s sake, it seemed fitting.
